Community Involvement
Ace and TJ's Grin Kids

TeleSource is proud to support Grin Kids, a non-profit foundation created by Kiss 95.1 FM's morning show duo, Ace and TJ. The Grin Kids organization sends terminally ill children and their families to Disney World every year expense-free.

TeleSource hosted the annual Casino Night Fundraiser to raise money for Grin Kids. After a few hours of guilt-free gambling, guests were entertained by a live auction where they used their Grin Kids Bucks winnings to bid on items donated by local area businesses. All total, the event raised $5,380 for the local children's charity.

More recently, the TeleSource team took on presenting sponsorship of the July 3rd Summer Celebration at the Lowe's YMCA in Mooresville, NC. The event was attended by 20,000 area residents and featured a patriotic concert by a 200-member community choir. TeleSource staff also endorse Cell Phones for Soldiers. Since inception in April 2004, the group has raised almost $2 million in donations and distributed more than 500,000 prepaid calling cards to American soldiers serving overseas.

TeleSource is also involved with Ace and TJ’s Christmas charity, "Breaking and Entering Christmas." We were proud to make an on-air donation last year to show producer, Yankee Pete and his band of Merry Hoodlum Elves. Every Christmas season, they select families in the Charlotte area that need a little extra help around the holidays, and drop off presents and other surprises to their homes.
